Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy Signs Memorandum with the Blueberry Growers Association

Government and Industry Join Forces

Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Oksana Osmachko, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Blueberry Growers Association of Ukraine. The document outlines a shared commitment to develop and support the national berry industry.

A Partnership for Growth

The memorandum includes joint efforts in:

• coordinating initiatives in berry cultivation;

• stimulating blueberry exports;

• involving the industry in shaping agricultural policy.

The ministry emphasized that such partnerships are key to strengthening Ukraine’s position as a leading European producer of berries.

A Signal of Institutional Support

This is the first official agreement of its kind between the government and representatives of the domestic blueberry sector. It signals a growing trust between public institutions and private industry, while creating new opportunities for investment and sector-wide reform.
